Doodles, a leading Web3 brand is looking to acquire the Golden Wolf animation studio as part its Web3 ecosystem expansion plans. The studio will work with Burnt Toast, Burnt Toast’s artist, once the deal is done. It is a goal to create original content. This will encourage the creation of Doodle characters and their stories as well as creativity.
Yesterday’s press release stated that the Golden Wolf’s team would join Doodles once all is settled. Their expertise in animation, visual storytelling and content creation will be brought in.
As the deal closes in the next few weeks, the exact number involved is unknown. Experts see the acquisition as a major move to transform Doodles into a top Web3 platform, expanding its content arm, and accelerating its ambitious Web3 ecosystem.

What does this mean for Top Web3 Brand Doodles
Both sides are happy with the agreement for now. Julian Holguin, CEO at Doodles, says, “We are excited to welcome the Golden Wolf team into Doodles. This investment advances our strategic priorities to create world-class content, leverage technology to incubate innovative formats, and ultimately, spread joy to millions of people around the globe .”
Ingi Erlingsson is the CEO of Golden Wolf. He is also upbeat. He is thrilled to have the opportunity to work again with Burnt Toast, and the rest of Doodles’ team. He believes the partnership will unlock boundless potential in each business and accelerate their “goal to redefining entertainment through engaging storytelling worlds through engaging storytelling.” Doodles used the talents of the studio last year to create their beautifully crafted trailer for ‘Doodles 2″.
The Golden Wolf team will be joining Doodles but they will work independently. Erlingsson will be joining Doodles as Chief Content Officer. He brings a wealth experience from working with companies like Meta, Nike Adidas, Nike, Adidas and Gatorade. He will also continue to manage the Golden Wolf offices in New York City and London.
