Doritos, a large brand that makes delicious snacks, has joined the Metaverse to host its own digital event. From 9pm UTC on Tuesday, February 8, to 9pm UTC Monday, February 11, Doritos Triangle Studios, Decentraland will host 3 days of delicious givaways.
This giveaway is not limited to crypto users. Anyone can enter, whether as a guest or with their crypto wallet. You can make your own beats and play minigames to be eligible for exciting prizes.

To explore the Doritos metaverse, you’ll need to create an NFT avatar that will be used in mini-games. You can alter the color and style of your skin, hair, and clothes. Plus, you can sport any accessory you wish.

Once you are up and running, it is possible to explore the new Doritos-shaped triangle Tower in Decentraland. You will earn points as you explore. These points will affect the type of NFTs that you can earn. You can win Meetbits #24 from Larva Labs, or a mashup between Clone-X #12118 and RTFKT by Takashi Murakami.
Players can also win eight wearables for free, four of which are locked and four unlocked. Two custom gaming rigs from BRParadox are also available, all of which can be run on the Polygon blockchain.
Doritos is the latest top brand to join The Metaverse
Doritos, as we mentioned previously, is the latest top brand that has joined the NFT/Metaverse bandwagon. This is a welcome move by Sandeep Nailwal (CEO of Polygon). After hearing the news about the three-day event, Nailwal expressed his delight at welcoming the tortilla chips producer into Polygon’s ecosystem. He also said that “the reach Polygon in mainstream is mindboggling.”
