Deputy, the star producer behind “Bitch Better Have My Money” by Rihanna, has teamed up to create NFTs. These will give fans a portion of his streaming royalties. Today, February 9th at 5 p.m. GMT, the limited edition NFTs will be available. The collection includes 300 NFTs each selling for $210.
These exclusive NFTs will give owners a 0.0033% share in future streaming royalties. Although it may seem small, this is a significant percentage considering the song has received more than 1 billion streams across all platforms.
BBHMM was first released in 2015. It reached the top of eight countries’ charts before becoming triple platinum in the United States. Pitchfork included it among the top 200 essential songs in the 2010s. It helped Deputy grow his career as a producer.
