Wildcard, a Web3 battle-arena-game developed by The Wildcard Alliance (a gaming company founded by Paul and Katy Drake Bettner), is called Wildcard. Paul is an experienced video game developer and co-founder at Playful Studios. Paul’s career includes blockbuster franchises like Words with Friends, Halo Wars and Lucky’s Tale.
Wildcard is their newest web3 game. It’s been in development for more than 5 years. Wildcard is a result of the team’s experiences in developing the real-time strategy game franchise Age of Empires. It leverages an “easy-to-pick up and master” formula to create a long-lasting competitive game and IP.
Wildcard’s joy is in the hum from the crowd. The excitement of watching your Champion enter the Arena and the nervous anticipation as a match begins. The proud cheers, anxious groans, and the hush that descends when something unexpected happens.
Wildcard is an action-oriented, PvP game with web3 collectible elements. The game features players creating decks of cards to summon powerful creatures companions. They then battle alongside them in an arena that is surrounded by interactive spectators and fans. Wildcard combines the replayability and depth of Age of Empires with the appeal of Clash Royale and the drama and watchability of League of Legends. It is part MOBA, part deck builder and part arena action game. It’s both familiar and surprising at the same time.
Wildcard has received funding of over $46m from prominent investors Paradigm and Griffin Gaming Partners. The Polygon network is where Wildcard’s platform debuts, which is one of the most prestigious gaming and scaling infrastructure chains.
2. Calvaria
Calvaria, also known as “DUELS of ETERNITY”, is a battle card game that allows players to duel, earn rewards, and upgrade their cards to be the ultimate battlefield force. The game also includes an on-premise P2P market place to trade collectibles, and NFT breeding for additional value and utility. Calvaria will use the Polygon network because of its lower transaction fees, higher scalability and ability to provide a top-notch gaming experience.

The Void Its 3 characters are THE VOID CROWING DUSK and EY OF VOID.
Calvaria’s uses the native token $RIA. This token is currently pre-sale and has a maximum supply limit of 1,000,000,000. Its roadmap states that its token launch, NFT drops, token launch and CEX (Centralized Exchange) listing will all take place in Q1 2023. INO (Initial Non-Fed Offering) will also take place on KuCoin and Gate.io. Calvaria is supported by Polygon studios and KuCoin.
3. Meta Arena
META ARENA, a Metaverse game that uses an NFT platform on-premise, is a Metaverse game. To connect to different game worlds, players can collect avatars and use them to play in META ARENA. This will earn a $META token (a KIP-7 token standard). The META ARENA, which is a multi-ecosystem built on the Klaytn Network, consists of three subecosystems.
- Avatar ecosystem where KIP-17 NFTs are summoned.
- The Play to Earn ecosystem allows gamers to summon avatars to play fun META ARENA games and earn rewards.
- The Platform ecosystem is where tokens and NFTs are traded. It is also a platform for new web 3 games, thanks to its no-code support that supports tokens as well as NFTs’ contracts.

4. HTML3_ Blocktrucks
Blocktrucks is a multiplayer web 3 racing game that you can play and earn. The game features truck racing competitions that take place on challenging tracks such as tarmac, mud and snow. Players can customize their trucks with their favorite paints, decals and tire sets. These NFTs can also be purchased or earned on the marketplace.
In time-bound racing tournaments, players can earn $TRUCK, the ecosystem native token. There are seven ranks in Blocktrucks: Champion, Bronze, Silver and Gold, Platinum, Diamond, Grand champion, and Champion. The rank determines the amount of rewards earned in a race. The lowest rank, or starting rank, is bronze. The highest rank is the “Grand Champion”.
The 19 NFT stadiums are available for purchase by prospective gamers prior to the game’s launch. These stadiums can be personalized to fit the owners’ track layouts, colors, barriers, logos, and billboards. Stadium owners will receive 10% of all $TRUCK tokens for each race that is hosted at their track. Stadium owners will also be entitled to a portion of advertising revenue from billboard impressions or in-game advertising partners.
All NFTs can be minted currently on Jumpnet (Enjin’s private fork Ethereum). They will launch alongside the Blocktrucks game, $TRUCK and WAX I Q1/Q2 2023. According to the roadmap, AtomicHub is the marketplace for NFTs.
5. HTML3_ Treeverse
Treeverse is a MMORPG (Massively Multiplayer Online Roll-Playing Game) that was created for mobile devices. Endless Cloud, a 42-member team that includes two co-founders, is the creator of Treeverse. It is built on Ethereum and has three modes of gameplay.

- Timeless – A unique collection of avatars for multiple virtual worlds including the Treeverse.
Its native token, $ROOT is an ERC-20 token standard. All in-game collectibles will be available for purchase on OpenSea, which is due to launch in 2023.
